This Privacy Policy explains how 3D Shoe Charms (“we”, “us”, “our”), trading via 3dshoecharms.co.uk, collects, uses and protects personal information when you use our website and services.
We handle personal data in line with the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).

1. What we collect
- Identity and contact data — name, email, phone (if provided), company, shipping and billing address
- Order and payment-related data — order contents, amounts, PayPal transaction references (we do not store full card numbers)
- Account or enquiry data — if you contact us, request a quote, free mock-up, or partner/wholesale inquiry
- Technical and usage data — IP address via hosting/CDN, browser type, pages viewed
- Marketing preferences — if you subscribe to our emails
2. Cookies, analytics and advertising
We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage so the shop can run (cart, checkout and security). These are always active because the site cannot function without them.
We also use optional analytics and advertising technologies — currently Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel. These are only loaded after you accept them in our cookie banner. If you decline, we do not load them and we do not send any analytics or advertising information about your visit.
Measuring our Meta (Facebook and Instagram) ads. Where you have accepted advertising cookies, we send event information to Meta both from your browser (Meta Pixel) and from our own server (Meta Conversions API). This covers actions such as viewing a product, adding to basket, starting checkout, placing an order or sending an enquiry, along with the page address and the Meta advertising identifiers held in your browser. So that Meta can match an event to an account, we also include your email address, phone number, name, city, county, postcode and country — but only as an irreversible SHA-256 hash, never in plain text. The purpose is to measure which ads lead to orders and enquiries, and to improve how our ads are targeted.
The legal basis for the optional technologies described above is your consent. You can withdraw it at any time by clearing your cookie choice in your browser, or by emailing us, and we will stop sending this information; withdrawal does not affect information already shared. Meta processes it under its own terms and as a controller in its own right — please see Meta's privacy policy for details.
3. How we use information
- To process orders, proofs, delivery and customer support
- To secure the site, prevent fraud and improve our services
- To send order-related messages; marketing emails only if you subscribed (you can unsubscribe anytime)
- To meet legal or accounting record-keeping needs that apply to us
4. Sharing
We may share data with service providers who help us operate the shop, including payment (PayPal), email delivery, hosting/CDN (e.g. Cloudflare), analytics providers, and — where you have consented — advertising measurement by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (see section 2). We do not sell your personal information.
5. Storage and cross-border processing
We are a company based in the United States and we use global service providers, so personal data may be stored or processed outside the United Kingdom. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.
6. Retention
We keep order and enquiry records as long as needed for the contract, disputes and legal/accounting requirements. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe.
7. Access, correction and complaints
You may request access to, or correction of, personal data we hold about you, and exercise your other rights under UK data protection law. Contact sales@3dshoecharms.co.uk. We aim to reply within 12 hours on business days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
8. Updates
We may update this policy from time to time. The version on this page is the current one.
